FCMS Administration would like to share a policy update with you in regards to a growing issue with paper darts in our school. Any student found to be in possession of these paper darts, particularly the ones with metal points in them (please see the accompanying photo) will be facing disciplinary measures per the Student Code of Conduct. These consequences may include, but not be limited to, in-school or out-of-school suspension. We take the safety of all staff and students seriously at FCMS and violations of this policy will be dealt with immediately. These paper darts have no place in our school and are now serving to distract from learning and jeopardize safety on our campus. All students have been informed to dispose of any paper darts during lunch today. Teachers have been informed of the new policy and guardians and families are being informed through ParentSquare. We are asking you to have a conversation with your students and take the time to check their bags to make sure they don’t have any of these inappropriate items. Thank you for your support!
